Behaviour research at Edinburgh

Behaviour research at Edinburgh

Aims

Our aims are to facilitate:
  • Understanding behaviour through scientific study
  • Sharing of relevant knowledge and techniques
  • Career development for early career scientists

Edinburgh is a central hub for behavioural research in humans and animals, but the research is often fragmented across different groups, fields and institutes. We would like to increase awareness amongst scientists using behavioural science of other relevant work in Edinburgh, including techniques and animal resources that could add value to their own research.

The group aims to provide a better training environment for our post-graduate students working in behavioural science, providing them with a network which they can help them gain specific knowledge or training. The group will also facilitate mentoring for early career researchers and across different colleges and institutes.
